The intensification of the crisis in the last years and its devastating effects has increased the factors of social risk among young people.The context of the international financial crisis has had as a result an important increase of the unemployment and has led to conditions of poverty to people who had never imagined being in this situation, due to the loss of their job or the inability to accede.
From the Tresca Jove, meeting local and European needs:
In this context, at the end of 2010 we propose to carry out from the Fundació Catalana de l´Esplai (FUNDESPLAI) the first edition of the Project Tresca Jove in order to guarantee the accompaniment through tutoring of the young people in situation of social risk along a process of integral training inside the area of the leisure time education, which should allow them to take advantage of formative and educational opportunities and of social and labour insertion.
The Project Tresca Europe consists in the transfer of the socio-labour inclusion program Tresca Jove, led by the Fundació Catalana de l'Esplai, to social entities of Spain, Portugal and Italy, and it will count on the participation of 350 young persons.
From the program Tresca Europe we address to young persons between 18 and 25 years of age, who want to favor their personal development and their social and labor integration from the accompaniment, the training and the practices like a first labor experience, preventing the vulnerability or the deterioration towards situations of social risk.
